Fast SLA prints with the Draft Resin
Parts printed with the new Draft Resin, a special synthetic resin from the American company Formlabs, are particularly suitable for rapid prototyping. Compared to the standardised synthetic resins, Draft Resin can be printed 3-4 times faster. The Draft Resin was developed so that especially large components with few details can be produced within one day. A layer height of 300 micrometers meets the requirements of prototype production. Thus, the draft resin speeds up the entire creation process and at the same time enables faster design iterations.
Note: Formlabs cartridges physically fit all Formlabs SLA 3D printers from the second generation onwards (Form 2, Form 3 and Form 3L). However, a material may not be compatible with your printer and a corresponding material profile cannot be selected in the PreForm software. Therefore please always check in PreForm beforehand that the corresponding resin is compatible with your printer.
