The most durable resin for Formlabs 3D printers
The Durable Resin V2 was developed to simulate the properties of polypropylene (PP). The material therefore has a very high impact resistance and stability. For this reason, engineers in particular use it to create durable prototypes. The Durable Resin stands out from other stable materials due to its flexibility. It is also suitable for assembling components with ball joints and plug-in mechanisms. In addition, the printed components receive a shiny and smooth surface.
Note: Formlabs cartridges physically fit all Formlabs SLA 3D printers from the second generation onwards (Form 2, Form 3 and Form 3L). However, a material may not be compatible with your printer and a corresponding material profile cannot be selected in the PreForm software. Therefore please always check in PreForm beforehand that the corresponding resin is compatible with your printer.
